Dad update.

I'm in Houston for my spring break visiting my parents. My dad is down here trying to get into some treatment for his cancer at M.D. Anderson. This area of the city is just jam-packed with hospitals. And it is very nice down here, so I am so glad they have the opportunity to try treatment at this hospital.

I just want to ask everyone to keep my Dad and family in your prayers. There are so many unknowns, and it is proving quite stressful and disconcerting for everyone. Please pray for guidance as they choose which treatment path to take.

I have been a practical watershed the past few days. An "a capella" group started singing in the lobby downstairs and it made me cry. Silly. But this place they are staying is so nice because it is connected to the hospital and has so many resources. I think my mom and I are going to take a swim in their salt-water pool to relax this evening! Dad's worn out from the day, so he's been asleep for a while.

Anyway, that's a quick update. It's just been a while since we've sought everyone's prayers, and I figured there's no time like the present to ask everyone to seek the Lord's healing for us.
